I think he would cause such a temperament，a part of reason from his name.
In Deutsch，if ''von'' the word in a person's name，it means he/she is noble descendants.
(not ''van'')
So that，Kim's temperament is different from the other people.

お名前の「von」について私もWikipediaで調べたことがあるのですが
ドイツ語のフォン (von) は王侯貴族（フュルスト）や準貴族（ユンカーなど）の姓に用いられ、
元来は出身地に冠してその地を領地とすることを意味するが、
ファン(van)は、単に出身という意味であり、平民でも名乗ることが多い。
